Google Business Profile fixer for Belfast salons
Make your Google listing true: right hours, right category, real photos, decent replies. £7.
Who it’s for
Hair salons, barbers, beauty rooms, nail techs and brow and lash studios in Belfast and across Northern Ireland with 1 to 15 staff. You have a Google listing (or keep meaning to claim one), you do your own marketing on your phone between clients, and people keep ringing to ask if you’re open over the Twelfth.
What’s inside
- 10-minute listing check. Name, hours, bank holiday hours, map pin, phone, booking link, attributes, owner access.
- Categories for salons. How to pick one primary category (Hair salon, Barber shop, Beauty salon, Nail salon, Eyebrow bar) and sensible secondary ones.
- Services and prices list. Ready-to-edit services with durations and ‘from’ prices for cuts, colour, blow-dries, nails, brows and lashes.
- Photo list. Twelve shots to take on your phone, from the shopfront to a finished balayage in daylight.
- Review-reply scripts. A complaint about colour, a no-show complaint, a running-late complaint and a five-star review.
- 14-day post calendar. Day-by-day post ideas with Belfast hooks: school formals, Communions and Confirmations, St Patrick’s Day, the Belfast City Marathon, the Christmas Market at City Hall.
- Worked example. A two-chair salon on the Ormeau Road, before and after, in 40 minutes.
- Word and PDF. Edit the Word file, or print the PDF and tick it off.
How you use it
- Open your profile in Google Search or Maps.
- Do the 10-minute check and fix anything wrong.
- Set categories and paste in your services.
- Take the photos and answer every review from the last three months.
- Copy the 14-day calendar into your phone.
What it won’t do
- It won’t move you up the map or get you reviews. Nobody honest can promise that.
- It doesn’t log in to Google for you or post anything automatically.
- It isn’t Google’s official policy. Google’s menus change; check their help pages.
- It isn’t legal or tax advice.
Worked example: a two-chair salon on the Ormeau Road
The listing had last year’s hours, ‘Beauty salon’ as the main category for a hair-only salon, no services and four unanswered reviews. 40 minutes later:
| Item | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Primary category | Beauty salon | Hair salon |
| Hours | Old Thursday late opening | Tue to Sat, late Thu to 8pm |
| Bank holiday hours | Not set | Set for 13 Jul (closed) |
| Services | None | 9 services with ‘from’ prices |
| Photos | 3, all from 2022 | 12 new, daylight |
| Unanswered reviews | 4 | 0 |
The 14-day calendar then starts with a ‘formal bookings open’ post and a photo of the new colour bar.
